M. Axel Beelen organise un séminaire sur la nouvelle directive droit d’auteur.

Le séminaire aura lieu le 21 juin 2019 à Bruxelles.

"The EU Copyright directive will have a transversal effect. It will impact all the economic sectors. Google will have to sit at the table with the press publishers in order to conclude licences for its GoogleNews service, scientific researchers will be able to do more effective text&data mining treatments, writers will be able to review their contracts to add the so-called success provision. This new directive will have the same impact in the copyright matter than the GDPR in the data protection field. Member States have only two years to implement the European text.

This course can be interesting for qualified/in-house lawyers, judges, legal consultants, teachers, legislators, users, students.

You are invited to the seminar organized by Axel Beelen (aka @ipnewsbe) to hear excellent presentations about the new responsabilités of the sharing platforms (YouTube), the new neighboring right of the press publishers (GoogleNews), the text&data mining exception and the new possibilities of remuneration for authors and artists.
